OUTLINE

Glass diffusers are components to diffuse the light. This component is incorporated into devices such as laser projectors. Yamamura's glass diffusers have higher transmittance and excellent light/heat resistance compared to resin diffusers because they are made of glasses. By our original surface processing technology, the surface of the glass plate is finely textured to realize the diffusion of transmitted light by random refraction. In addition, since all processing is done at our factory, it is possible to finely adjust the diffusion angle according to the customer's usage conditions. Also, it is possible to control the light distribution and alleviate uneven brightness according to the application.

High transmittance

Double-sided AR coating is possible according to the required specifications. Consequently, a transmittance of 95% or more can be obtained.

Excellent heat resistance

Heat resistant temperature is 400℃(material: Pyrex type)

Excellent light resistance

As being made of glass, our glass diffusers have excellent light resistance compared to resin diffusers. For example, even when exposed to high-power laser light for a long time, defects such as discoloration do not occur.

Custom design support

We will design and propose diffusion angles and shapes according to the application.
Diffusion angle (FWHM): Single-sided product / 1-10°, Double-sided product / ~ 17°
